A Surpentine/Citrine pendant and Amethyst pendant. April 26 Douglas WolfWell my friend Brent Johnston, a fantastic pianest, asked me to make a broach for Douglas Wolf. He is head of percussion at Utah state university and has backed Carol King, Madonna and Ray Charles to name a few. Was really honoured to make it. It was to celebrate 30 years in the music business. March 13 Glenn MarzialiA couple of weeks ago Glenn Marziali a make up artist from New York brought a ring off me. Was great talking to him and he was very pleased for me for getting my work on the catwalk. He is a make up artist to the rich and famous ( Heidi Klum, Cindy Crawford, Elle Macpherson etc etc ). Would be nice to meet up with him in NY. Have got his phone number etc. We are ment to meet certain people in our lives and meeting someone like Glenn helps with your faith in your art. February 01 Images Magazine Well Images magazine, NZs leading hair and beauty mag has done a five page spread on the fashion show. If you go to Jackie Gays web site you can see images of the show. She took photos at it. Have sold four of my pieces that were on the catwalk now. Two to go. www.stillvision.co.nz November 23 Catwalk JewelleryWell, over the last two days have sold two of the pieces of jewellery I had on the catwalk at Fashion on Q. The Jade one and Aquamarine one. Rather happy about that. Thankyou to the people who appreciate what I do. |
